Suggestion: The weather station supports two power supply methods. When only powered by batteries (not included), the device will not stay constantly lit to save power. At this time, touching the top backlight button will make the screen light up and automatically turn off after 15 seconds. When powered by a power cord (included), the device will stay constantly lit except during the WWVB signal search period. It is recommended to use a power adapter (included) for power supply while inserting batteries (not included) as a backup to retain settings in case of accidental power loss.

Tips: Mount the sensor vertically on a North-facing wall or a well-shaded location to avoid sunlight and rain. Direct sunlight will make the temperature read high. Metal siding, stucco, and certain types of glass can greatly reduce the range of the signal.

Note: Package comes with 1 remote sensor; Wireless refers to the connection method between the weather station and outdoor sensors, though a power cable is still required.

How long does the weather clock take to learn and calibrate when you use it for the first time?

1) It usually takes 7-10 days to calibrate.

2) If it is moved from one environment to another (such as bringing the sensor from outside to inside in winter), a calibration time of several hours may be required.

Is the sensor waterproof?

The waterproof level of the sensor is IPX4. But we still recommend that you place it under a cover for protection, because long-term exposure to rain can easily cause internal rust and damage the parts (physical phenomenon).

The reason why the clock goes wrong automatically?

The default time zone of the weather clock is PST and the DST is OFF, you only need to simply set your standard time zone and ON/OFF DST according to the instructions when you use it for the first time. Then the clock won’t be wrong.

The screen goes blank for 7 minutes while the weather station is searching for a WWVB signal, is this normal?

Yes. Since the WWVB signal is susceptible to interference from many factors, turning off the screen during the search can shield some interference factors.

Why Does My Screen Keep Dimming when plugged in?

1. Atomic Clock Sync: Temporarily dims during WWVB signal reception→ Let it auto-restore brightness or hold butter to cancel.

2. Low Brightness Setting: Adjustable backlight levels→ Tap butter to adjust screen clarity.
